Enterprise networking, security and collaboration
Cisco is the networking platform behind much of the cloud, hosting and managed IT work we deliver. We design, supply and integrate Cisco switching, routing, wireless, security and collaboration equipment as part of our IT and digital services.

Nexus N3000 Series
Fixed top-of-rack switching for a small server room or single data center rack.
Enterprise data center
Nexus N9300 Series
Fixed switching for spine-and-leaf or top-of-rack designs in a mid-size data center fabric.
Large-scale data center
Nexus N9500 Series

Cisco product families we work with
Catalyst Series switching
Campus / BranchAccess, aggregation and core switches for campus and branch LANs.
- Scales from a single-wiring-closet branch to a multi-building campus core
- Common management plane across the access, aggregation and core layers
- Stacking and modular chassis options for planned growth
Best for: Offices and campuses standardizing on one LAN switching platform end to end.
Nexus Series switching
Data centerTop-of-rack, leaf-and-spine and modular switching built for data center fabrics.
- Fixed switches for top-of-rack or spine-and-leaf designs
- Modular chassis options for large-scale spine and aggregation layers
- Separate product line from Catalyst — built for the data center, not the campus LAN
Best for: Businesses building or expanding a data center network, not a campus or branch LAN.
ISR and ASR Series routing
Branch / WAN edgeIntegrated and Aggregation Services Routers for branch and WAN connectivity.
- Branch routers combine WAN, security and voice in one box
- Aggregation-tier routers for multi-branch and data-center-edge WAN
- Supports hybrid WAN designs mixing MPLS, broadband and LTE/5G
Best for: Multi-branch businesses connecting sites back to HQ or a data center.
Catalyst wireless access points
Campus / BranchAccess points for campus and enterprise wireless coverage.
- Indoor and outdoor access point options for different coverage needs
- Centralized wireless LAN controller or cloud-managed modes
- Current Wi-Fi standards for high-density office and campus deployments
Best for: Offices and campuses that need managed, not consumer-grade, Wi-Fi.
Firepower security appliances
Perimeter / EnterpriseNext-generation firewalls for perimeter and data center defense.
- Application-aware inspection, not just port and protocol filtering
- Integrated intrusion prevention and malware defense
- Centralized policy management across multiple appliances
Best for: Businesses needing a managed perimeter firewall, not a consumer router.
Webex collaboration
EnterpriseMeetings, calling and IP telephony for distributed teams.
- Meetings, messaging and calling in one platform
- Desk phone, softphone and room-device options
- Integrates with the rest of a Cisco network estate
Best for: Teams replacing a legacy PBX or a patchwork of calling and meeting tools.
Why source Cisco through Tanrova Rise
- We size the right Cisco tier to your site instead of defaulting to whatever's in stock.
- Installation, configuration and change management are included, not left to you after delivery.
- One support line covers the Cisco estate alongside the rest of your IT, instead of a separate vendor ticket queue.
Cisco — frequently asked questions
- What's the difference between Cisco Catalyst and Cisco Nexus switches?
- Catalyst is Cisco's campus and branch LAN switching line — access, aggregation and campus core. Nexus is Cisco's data center switching line, built for data center fabric designs such as top-of-rack/leaf and spine. If you're wiring an office or a campus building, you want Catalyst; if you're building or expanding a data center network fabric, you want Nexus — they're separate product lines, not two tiers of the same one.
- What's the difference between Cisco and Cisco Meraki?
- Same parent company, different management model. Cisco's Catalyst/Nexus/ISR/Firepower line is configured device-by-device (or with on-prem controllers); Cisco Meraki is cloud-managed from a single dashboard. We help you pick based on how many sites you have and who's going to manage the network day to day — see our Cisco Meraki page for that comparison.
- How do I size a Catalyst switch for my office?
- It comes down to port count, power-over-Ethernet needs (for phones, access points and cameras), and whether you need stacking for future growth. Tell us your headcount, site layout and what's going to plug in, and we'll recommend a tier.
- Do you support Cisco equipment after installation?
- Yes — ongoing maintenance, monitoring and support are part of our managed IT service, not a separate add-on you have to arrange elsewhere.
