Cisco Catalyst wireless access points

Cisco's current wireless access points are sold under the Catalyst brand (the earlier Aironet name is being phased out across the line). They cover indoor and outdoor coverage needs, from a single-floor office to high-density areas like training rooms or warehouses, and run in either a centralized wireless LAN controller mode or a cloud-managed mode.

Coverage planning matters more than the hardware spec sheet here — a site survey determines access point count and placement before we quote anything. We also handle the controller-vs-cloud decision based on how many sites you have and who manages the network day to day, the same logic we use when comparing this to Cisco Meraki's fully cloud-managed wireless.
