Dell — frequently asked questions

How do I know what size PowerEdge server I need?
It comes down to what's running on it — a file server, a database, a virtualization host — and how many users or VMs it needs to support. Tell us the workload and we'll size CPU, RAM and storage rather than quoting the biggest model.
Is VxRail worth it for a small business, or only large data centers?
It makes the most sense once you're running several virtualized workloads and want to stop managing compute, storage and networking as separate systems — below that scale, standalone PowerEdge servers are usually more cost-effective. We'll size it honestly either way.
Do you support Dell hardware after installation, or just the sale?
Ongoing support, firmware updates and warranty coordination are part of our managed IT service, not a one-time delivery.
